    • Conducted a session on the topic “Communication Styles in Conflict- on 26th February, 2022, for Conflict Assessment and Management Training, organised by the School of Law, under the aegis of TATA-PALKHIVALA CHAIR ON AI & ADR.
    • Attended Online International Symposium on “Educational Pedagogies & Technologies for Sustainable Development “, from 24 to 26th January 2022, jointly conducted by UNESCO, uniTwin, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
    • Resource person under AICTE Margdarshan Scheme delivered talk on the topic “Innovative Pedagogical Approach”, on 26/3/2022
    • Successfully completed self-learning online course on Understanding Open Educational Resources (OER), from Commonwealth of Learning, on April 12, 2022.
    • Convener for the NHRC collaborative one- day training programme on Rights of Child for teacher trainees conducted on 23/12/22

    • Paper presented at the International Conference on Best Innovative Teaching Strategies, 9-11 February, 2023, BITS-Pilani. Paper titled- “A Relationship Study on Teacher Trainees’ Perceived Use of Gamification of Learning and Gamification User Types”.
    • Participated and successfully completed with grade A+, UGC Approved Short-term Professional Development Programme under Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching on the topic “Implementation of NEP2020 for University and college Teachers” held from 17-25, October 2022.
    • Reviewed the manuscript “The attractiveness of Indian Polytechnics graduates – An analysis from the (demand-side) perspective of companies and colleges" for International Journal of Training and Development, Wiley Publication in May, 2022.
    • Reviewed articles for International Conference on Best Innovative Teaching Strategies, BITS-Pilani, for Springer Publication.
    • Reviewed article for Journal of School Health, American School Health Association, Exploring the readiness of youth educations to implement a suicide preventing intervention: an observational survey study, Wiley Publication.
    • Evaluated Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Post-Doctoral Fellowship research proposal.
  • Dr R Jayasree (SASHE), along with two more faculty received Best Paper Award under Track 1- Cultural and Gender Studies in Higher Education at the Second International Conference on "BEST INNOVATIVE TEACHING STRATEGIES", ICON BITS 2023, at BITS Pilani, Rajasthan for their paper titled 'Strategies to improve Linguistic, Social and Cultural capital Triumvirate in Tertiary Students: A Study among Undergraduate Teacher Trainees in South India'
  • Dr. B. Lalitha Bala has been appointed as NSS Co-oridnator for SASTRA University
  • Chi. Cdt S.Sajan Ganapathy of 1st year B.A.B.Ed., participated in 2nd All India lathi championship (Silambam) held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and won first position in both ‘lathi fight’ and ‘lathi demonstration’ in the under 19 category.
  • In the SASTRA ‘University Day” conducted on 6.5.2023, Chi.Cdt S.Sajan Ganapathy was honoured with a citation and cash award of Rupees ‘ten thousand’
  • Chi.R.A.Arunmozhy and M.Vishal 4th Year B.Sc.B.E (Physics) won Boys’ volleyball tournament.
  • Sow.S.Vaishnavi, 2nd Year B.Sc.B.Ed (Maths), J.P.Priya and M.Devika 4th Year B.Sc.B.Ed (Physics) won Girls’ volleyball tournament.
  • Sow.S.Saraswathi, J.Vaishnavi 4th Year B.Sc.B.Ed (Physics), V.J.Raja Rajeswari 2nd Year B.Sc.B.Ed (Maths) were runnerups in the Girls’ volleyball.
  • Sow.S.Vaishnavi, 2nd Year B.Sc.B.Ed (Maths) was adjudged as the ‘Best Player’.
  • Sow.A.Harini ,student of III year B.A.B.Ed. , wrote short story for the competition organized by Kalaimagal literary book and her work has been published .
